Coconut Coast

The Coconut Coast is one of Bahia’s most stunning coastal regions, stretching along the Linha Verde (Green Line) that connects Salvador to the Sergipe border.

Made up of paradisiacal beaches, dunes, rivers and extensive coconut groves, this coastal strip is home to famous tourist destinations such as Praia do Forte, Imbassaí, Costa do Sauípe, Subaúma and Massarandupió.

In addition to its natural beauty, the region has a rich biodiversity and is home to conservation projects such as the Tamar Project, dedicated to the protection of sea turtles.

With a diverse infrastructure ranging from luxury resorts to rustic villages, the Coconut Coast offers experiences from eco-tourism to sophisticated leisure, attracting visitors in search of tranquillity, adventure and culture.
