Vapor do Vinho, a wine tourism product, was developed by the government of Bahia, through Bahiatursa, in partnership with Vinícola Ouro Verde (Miolo/Lovara).
“It is another step we take towards developing this region, which is the São Francisco. I hope that this here is a seed where we reap more tourism, more jobs and more wealth for our land”, explained the governor of Bahia Jaques Wagner.
The tour on the Vapor do Vinho (wine tourism) in the São Francisco Valley, through a typical vessel of the region (photo), allows the visitor to climb the lock of Lake Sobradinho and enjoy all the beauty of the São Francisco Valley, in addition to a visit to the winery, located in Casa Nova (BA), with the right to taste the wines and sparkling wines produced on site.

The journey on the Vapor do Vinho begins in Juazeiro, from where tourists continue by road to a mooring, two kilometers from the Sobradinho dam.
