1. Ponta Verde Beach

5. Praia do Sobral

6. Pontal da Barra Beach
Located next to the Mundaú Lagoon, from where schooner or speedboat rides depart, in the traditional neighborhood of the lace makers.
The sea is open and its waves are strong, great for surfing. Beach also good for fishing.
7. Praia do Saco da Pedra
next to Praia do Francês, with access by boat, departing from Lagoa Manguaba, or on foot, through Praia do Francês at low tide.
8. Jatiúca Beach
Urbanized beach with good infrastructure. It has hotels, inns, restaurants, bars, kiosks, bike path, walking or running track, as well as gym equipment.
9. Cruz das Almas Beach
It is about 6 km north of the city center.
This beach emerged from an Indian cemetery. Its waves are high, good for surfing. The sea is rough.
One side of the beach is almost deserted, while on the other there are inns, hotels, bars and restaurants.
10. Jacarecica Beach
Distant about 7.5 km from the center of Maceió, it has a rough sea, open, but unsuitable for swimming. Good conditions for angling. It has bars and kiosks.
11. Guaxuma Beach
This beach is home to sediments from two rivers that border it.
It has kiosks and summer houses on its shore. Its waters are rough, and there are still hills, mangroves and coconut trees.
12. Praia de Graça Torta
Beach of great extension and tranquility, it is considered one of the refuges of the city.
Its beautiful look and pleasant climate usually attract many tourists during the high season, who take the opportunity to relax, take a refreshing swim and replenish their energy. It is seen as a good option for all audiences, being frequented by young people and families.
It has a spacious strip of golden sand, the sea is calm, with small waves depending on the weather. With clear waters, it is suitable for swimming and water sports, such as kayaking and windsurfing.
Natural pools form at low tide. Good for surfing and fishing in some stretches.
13. Riacho Doce Beach
About 10 km from the city center, this beach has small waves, soft and clear sands, as well as reefs.
It has inns, summer houses, and typical foods. It inspired José Lins do Rego to write the novel Riacho Doce.
14. Praia de Pratagi (Mirante da Sereia)
Beautiful beach, with a lookout from where you have a beautiful panoramic view.
It has weak waves, natural pools at low tide, and rustic kiosks.
15. Praia de Ipioca
Located in the village of the same name.
On one side (north), its sea is calm, with sand banks and natural pools at low tide; on the other, its waves are strong and the sand is soft. Ideal beach for walking.
